MAKING RESOLUTIONS IN THE NEW YEAR
It’s all about the change this New Year! Is is it All about the Change for you too?
A big thank you to Meghan Trainor and James Corden for their views of Resolutions this 2016!
Making resolutions consist of many different things in our lives each and every year.
Getting rid of the husband or boyfriend that has been driving you crazy perhaps, or the girlfriend you can’t get out of your spare room!
Maybe you want to lose some weight, eat healthier or learn yoga.
Maybe it’s to exercise more, walk more, talk more or even spiritually think less! Whatever it is you know it comes with a little bit of hard work, either emotionally or physically to get to your goals.
Do we actually achieve our New Year’s Goals?
But only a small fraction of us keep our resolutions, according to University of Scranton research.
Maybe it’s – I’ll give you a hint,, to follow a plan?
Your plan they say should consist of knowing what your clear ambition or goal is for the period of time. Having a clear goal or ambition of a detailed amount that you want to achieve by a certain date.
Something that is measureable, and achievable. Be specific.
“We say if you can’t measure it, it’s not a very good resolution because vague goals beget vague resolutions,” says John Norcross of the University of Scranton.
So what about our clear precise plan for 2016 and our families? Do we have one? What if something happened to you – the income earner of the household today?
What would you do? What would your income look like? Would you be able to cope off less income and for how long?
What about if that person in your family— is driving home from work one night— and is in a car accident?
What if that person is in a coma.
they can’t speak, they can’t write and they certainly can’t communicate.
What would you need to know from them? Maybe it would be to find a key to get into their house or apartment- have someone look after the pets. Or pick the kids up from school or an event.
Maybe it’s to pay their rent, or electricity while they are in the hospital. Maybe it’s to know what prescriptions they have been on recently so that the hospital knows what they are allowed. Maybe it’s let certain associates, clubs, network, or work friends know where they are to visit.
These little things are all situated in a simple but yet robust APP that will make your life easier, save you money, and emotional turmoil when it’s needed!
The big question when would it be needed?
No one knows the answer to that, but if you don’t have it, it will be too late.
let us help you achieve your small New Year’s 2016 goal with using our simple to use APP.
We don’t want you and your family to be part of that 8% that don’t keep their resolutions!
